504 Plan
Purpose: Ensures students with chronic illnesses like SCD can access learning in a general education setting.
Eligibility: Any student (K–college) with a health impairment that affects major life activities.
Accommodations:

Second set of textbooks at home
Modified physical activity (e.g., indoor recess)

IEP (Individualized Education Plan)
