In honor of National Sickle Cell Awareness month, SCWB will host our 8th Annual Sickle Cell awareness walk like warriors on September 5th, 2026 from 11am-2pm
Why We Walk Like Warriors
Sickle Cell Warriors are among the most courageous individuals we will ever meet. Every day, they fight battles—both seen and unseen—with strength and resilience that inspire us all.
We walk because their fight is our fight. We walk to amplify their voices, to stand in solidarity, and to remind the world that no one should face these challenges alone.
Together, we show why we walk like warriors—because hope, advocacy, and community can change lives.
We hope that you will continue to be a part of SCWB future endeavors.
