As we enter Year Four, Sickle Cell Warriors of Buffalo is embracing a season of transformation. After a year of growth in 2025, 2026 will be our year of refocusing and strategy—where every initiative is designed to uplift, empower, and support our families more deeply. From launching our new scholarship program to expanding transportation support and beyond, SCWB is committed to building pathways of hope, access, and opportunity. Our new themes and programs reflect a renewed vision: one that centers the voices of our warriors and strengthens the community around them.

Monthly Support Group: A Safe Space for Connection and Care
Every month, Sickle Cell Warriors of Buffalo, Inc. (SCWB) invites individuals and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease to join our Support Group Program—a welcoming space to share, learn, and grow together.
We understand the unique challenges that come with living with Sickle Cell, and we’re committed to providing a compassionate environment filled with understanding, encouragement, and practical resources.

SCWB is grateful for the opportunity to partner with My Three Sickler's (MTS) for the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of young warriors who are striving for greatness. The Warrior on the rise academic Scholarship program awards scholarships to talented young warriors who continue to excel despite the challenges of living with sickle cell disease.
Thanks to partners like us and many more, this year MTS was able to:
Award 27 scholarships to students across 9 states (DE, NY, GA, FL, TX, OH, MD, CA, & VA)
Highlight the achievements of resilient youth in our community
